The "Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport FUKUOKA" complex, which is scheduled to open in April 2022, is the location where the full-scale RX-93ffν GUNDAM statue was unveiled last December! As we wait for the site to open, some exciting news about one of the attractions that will be based inside the premises have been announced! Details about the GUNDAM facility "GUNDAM PARK FUKUOKA" have finally been revealed! It will comprise of three areas... The shopping area for anyone who wants to buy something GUNDAM-related, the sports section for visitors looking to stay active, and the amusement arcade for people who enjoy playing games. It promises to be the ultimate entertainment space for GUNDAM lovers! The facility will give the public a chance to to experience the alluring appeal of GUNDAM from all kinds of angles!

The shopping area will stock all kinds of GUNDAM products and provide the latest news about the series. The plans for the interior look amazing! It seems that the design of the store has been inspired by a space colony / space station. Shoppers will almost feel like they are floating in space. It is going to be very atmospheric! A huge monitor (10m width × 6m height) will be installed to display images that will not be shown anywhere else! A separate section will also be set up for visitors who want to assemble "Gunpla" figures!

The sports activity section has been developed by "VS Park" and GUNDAM (*please note: there will be an additional fee to enter). More than 20 popular activities including "NIGEKIRU" and "YOKEKIRU" have been turned into GUNDAM-themed games for this part of the facility. Don't forget to take a picture with the "RX-93ffν GUNDAM" at the photo spot, too!

Inside the arcade area you will be able to find all kinds of fun games, such as the GUNDAM version of the popular "Taiko no Tatsujin" drum game. Why not try your hand at one of the claw machines or capsule toy machines? Some of the prizes on offer will be limited edition items only be available in this facility! And that is not all... "MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM Senjo no Kizuna Ⅱ (MOBILE SUIT SURVIVAL GAME)" and various other arcade games await your arrival!
