My Kawaii 2
Since I really like Lolita fashion, I usually spend my time reading books and magazines related to this trend- it's where I get my inspiration from.
I make sure never to miss an issue of the KERA and Gothic&Lolita Bible magazines. Lately, BABY, THE STARS SHINE BRIGHT, Angelic pretty and other Lolita brands have also started putting out their own publications. These periodicals usually discuss Lolita trends and designs that will likely come into the fold. Some even come with cute handbags that you can collect, adding practical value to your purchases.

After fell in love with the Japanese Lolita fashion, I started to really get into makeup and techniques of application. The instructions on the Doll Make Lesson packets were really helpful and a great way to learn for me!

Aside from magazines, I also like the book the heart and soul of Lolita fashion - Misako Aoki - put out. I get a lot of ideas from Aoki's amazing styles to incorporate into my own outfits.
I am also a fan of both Mitsukazu Mihara and Kira Imai and their picture books. I especially find Kira Imai because Imai draws really cute, young Lolita girls. The details and use of colors in each of the sketches is always inspiring. Additionally, I feel that Arika Takarano's Lolita photo collection "Mitsubara Togehara"is a good reference for people who like this style, particularly glamour Lolita girls.
