ASIA VOCALOID FESTA - The Asia Vocaloid Cosplay Championship!
In Autumn this year, 2011, Fukuoka (Japan) and Asianbeat, a pop culture website devoted to the promotion of youth culture and cultural exchange across Asia, will host the “ASIA VOCALOID FESTA.” As the title suggests, the main theme for this event is the phenomena that has taken Japan and the rest of Asia by storm, VOCALOID. With an array of stalls and a variety of performances planned for the event it’s sure to be an all-out Vocaloid spectacular!
The main attraction of the “ASIA VOCALOID FESTA” will be a cosplay showdown – the “Asia Vocaloid Cosplay Championship.” Vocaloid Cosplay battles (preliminary selection rounds) are currently taking place all across Asia and the winners from each of the preliminary rounds in the respective countries will then all converge on Fukuoka, Japan, where the battle for the crown and bragging rights to being Asia’s No.1 Vocaloid cosplayer will take place!
Your performance could be a song, a dance, or it could even be both! The regional winners who go on to compete at the championship will be selected via a popular internet vote. So check out all the contestants online and vote for the one you think should progress to the final!
