[Feature] Fukuoka Manhole Guide (List of Manholes and background information)(37/52)
Hirokawa-machi [広川町]

The top of the design features text that reads "Fruits to Kougei no Sato (Fruit and Craft Village)," along with an image of grapes, strawberries, Kurume-gasuri (a textile which is both a Jyuyo Mukei Bunka-zai [Important Intangible Cultural Property], as well as a designated traditional craft), and the symbol of the city. "Hirokawa" and "Osui (sewage) 14" is written at the bottom of this sewage pipe manhole cover.
* As designated by the Japanese government, Jyuyo Mukei Bunka-zai (Important Intangible Cultural Property) is a title awarded to cultural properties (forms of drama, music, or craft techniques) of high artistic value.
Measures and provisions are being taken at various locations in an effort to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus.
