“Cos Lab” is the corner where we introduce Asia’s most popular cosplayers and display a collection of some of their finest works. Following on from the Japan and China editions, we now turn to Taiwan.
In this Taiwan edition, we team-up with Taiwanese dojin and cosplay magazine, “Dream Project,” and introduce you to some of Taiwan’s most prominent cosplayers!

Cosplayer #002 in the Taiwan series is Somei Shi, a member of "Versailles Design," the creators of the Taiwan fashion brand "Velvet Paradise."

Somei Shi is one of two members who form "Versailles Design," creators of the Taiwan fashion brand, "Velvet Paradise," and is the second cosplayer in the "Cos Lab" Taiwain series. Not only are her cosplay outfits amazing, her designs are remarkable as well and she has been invited to Japan on numerous occasions to attend various lolita fashion and cosplay events. She designed the outfits for the Queen of Akihabara, Momoi Haruko's world concert tour, and was even selected to be mascot for the "World Cosplay Summit - Japan-Taiwan Representative Selection Tournament" that was held in conjunction with "Taiwan Super Cosplay Celebration 2012."
