The "Vietnam-Fukuoka History and Cultural Exchange Exhibition" was held at Kyushu Geibun-kan in Chikugo City, Fukuoka Prefecture from Saturday 15th to Friday 21st January 2022. Some really interesting talks took place during the festival. Displays were also set up to help explain the history of Fukuoka Prefecture-Vietnam relations and introduce people to various aspects of Vietnamese culture, such as traditional outfits or musical instruments.

Another event was held to celebrate the Vietnamese "Tet" (Lunar New Year) at the same time. "Vietnamese New Year in Fukuoka 2022" ran from Saturday 15th to Sunday 16th January 2022 and was staged outside the Kyushu Geibun-kan building. Various booths were put up to give visitors the chance to learn more about Vietnamese culture alongside food stalls serving authentic cuisine!
