FUKUOKA OPEN TOP BUS
INFORMATION
In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, some of the facilities might have taken various measures such as reducing business hours or temporarily closing their doors. For more information, please check the relevant facility's official website or social media account.

Enjoy the fresh air as you drive through the streets of Fukuoka City!

There are three different bus routes available, with each offering a unique perspective of the local area. The "Hakata Machinaka Course" (60 minutes) provides a tour of well-known historic spots, such as the Fukuoka Castle Ruins. The "Seaside Momochi Course" (60 mins) goes around popular tourist attractions, including Fukuoka Tower, while giving passengers the opportunity to enjoy the refreshing sea breeze. The "Fukuoka Kirameki Course" (80 mins) offers wonderful views of the sun setting from the area around Momochi bay. Indonesian influencers Stefi and Ayu took a ride on the "Seaside Momochi Course" during their visit to Fukuoka. They got on the bus in front of Fukuoka City Hall and rode it through to Fukuoka Tower, which is their destination on the route. It is also possible to get off at other points along the journey!
You can reserve a seat on the FUKUOKA OPEN TOP BUS on the Internet or by phone. Tickets can also be purchased on the day if there are still seats available. You can pick up your tickets at the relevant counter in Fukuoka City Hall.

The bus departs in front of ACROS Fukuoka (seen in the righthand section of the photograph above). Various layers of grass and plants have been planted on one side of the building's exterior, creating a gorgeous step-shaped garden!
Not long after you start the journey, you will pass by the Red Brick Culture Center, which was built in the Meiji era.
Ayu: This was my first time on the FUKUOKA OPEN TOP BUS and I have to say... I never thought we would go on the highway! The view of the sea and various buildings was awesome! I am sure the scenery would also be beautiful at night! Next time I would like to try the route that gives you a chance of seeing the sunset!
A number of famous buildings in Fukuoka can be seen in the background of the photograph above. From left: Fukuoka PayPay Dome, Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk hotel, Fukuoka Tower!
Stefi: We were a bit unfortunate with the weather. There was some rain but it was a lot of fun... It was like going on a ride! It was really cool to see the Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk hotel, Fukuoka PayPay Dome, and Fukuoka Tower all at the same time! It would be nice to ride the bus again on a sunny day!
