AZA MIYUKO Q&A
Q. What’s your favorite food?
I like kimchi-chige, miso soup, and ramen. (I love spicy foods.)
Q. What’s your least favorite food?
I can’t really eat foods that are sweet. (I don’t dislike them, just find it hard to eat)
Q. What are you hooked on at the moment?
I like taking pictures. I don’t have my own camera at the moment but I will often borrow a friend’s camera and use that to take pictures. (But only from time to time. lol)
Q. Who’s your favorite artist?
I like the designer Vivienne Westwood. I find her designs to be cutting-edge and elegant.
Q. What’s your favorite game?
I like the online game “League of Legends.” If we’re talking about smartphone applications, then I like "Love Live! (School Idol Festival)."
Q. What did you want to become when you were younger?
I wanted to be a school teacher!!
Q. What is your dream now?
The stage & to be a fashion designer.
Q. As a cosplayer, what are some of the things that you need to be careful about or patient with?
I think it’s important to make sure you don't bother the people around you in the process of trying to take a cosplay picture.
Q. Do you have any beauty or dieting tips?
I don’t have any beauty tips in particular, but I think it is important to always wash the make-up off your face (cleansing) at the end of the day. I prefer exercising to dieting. I really like walking so I’ll often just go for a stroll.
Q. What’s your favorite cosplay item?
Eyeliner (TONYMOLY: gel type), Mascara (KissMe: Volume&Curl) I often use wigs and false eyelashes but after I buy it, I’ll try it out first before actually putting it to use.
Q.What’s your favorite body part? Least favorite?
What I like about myself: my eyes
What I dislike about myself: my waist.
Q. What during this asianbeat interview has left the biggest impression on you?
I was able to wear a yukata and Lolita clothes and meet other cosplayers in Fukuoka in person. Those are some of the things that will leave a lasting impression on me.
Q. Where is your favorite place in Fukuoka?
My favorite place was the beautiful Japanese garden Rakusuien we visited.
Q. You travel quite a bit. Can you tell us some of the things you must do during your travels?
Whenever I go overseas, I make sure to try the cup ramen or instant foods from that area. I believe that you can easily tell the local people’s taste in food by simply trying their cup ramen. (If I liked the taste of it, I’ll make sure to buy a lot before heading back:)

Q. What is your favorite thing about going overseas?
I love getting me meet other cosplayers or fans from different countries and talk to them.
Q. After you started traveling overseas, did anything change?
My approach to cosplay has changed a bit and how I cosplay now also depends on where I’m visiting. I feel that cosplaying for me has become a lot more fun now than it was before!
And finally, do you have a message for your fans?
From here on out, I’m going to continue trying my best and remain active. I’m going to try my hardest to put out increasingly higher-quality cosplay and I would appreciate all your support. 사랑해요!(I love you guys!)
