Love heart patterns and basic-shape designs are also a synch to make if you wanted to tone-down the otaku flavor a bit. Just remember that they can snag and run quite easily!

The designs are drawn on with permanent marker so the color shouldn’t run when you wash them, but just to be safe, I recommend washing them by hand.
