Fender×Evangelion Guitar
I got my Evangelion Fender on Yahoo Auction for about 3,000,000 Yen (approx. $30,000). Someone actually put in a bid for close to 10,000,000 Yen ($100,000) but they pulled out in the end I ended up getting it at my offered price. I can’t play guitar but I should probably get lessons at some point…

From the various collections to the furniture, this room surely would have cost a hefty sum. Apart from the Eva guitar, the pinnacle of the collection, an array of other rare items can be found in the treasure trove that is this otaku’s living quarters, most of which he says, was obtained through online auctions. I wonder how many other otaku’s rooms are as stylish or luxurious as this one…

Well that concludes the first installment of Otaku’s @ Home: the 10 Million Yen Project, but we’ve already managed to reach 3 million Yen in one hit! ! Not a bad start to the project.
