■Reason for becoming otaku?　
In primary school, I would wake up in the middle of the night and watch anime in secret. After getting my own PC, I became an even more avid follower and before I knew it, I was an otaku!
■What are your thoughts on the latest otaku boom?
Don’t think me a romanticist, but I think if you are passionate about something or like it you should pursue it with everything you’ve got. I just wish people would stop labeling us otaku as weird or strange.
