Shin-chan Orchard (信ちゃん果樹園)(5/6)

The torrential rain fall that hit northern Kyushu earlier this year impacted many of the farms, groves, and orchards in Asakura City. The damage caused to this year's crop has seen kaki production take a hit. The amount of kaki collected has also been less than would usually be expected. A number of the kaki trees on the mountains near "Shin-chan Orhcard" were swept away by the extreme weather conditions and restoring them has taken a considerable amount of time. When you find-out first-hand what happened to the area, you can't help but want to return and volunteer when the local farms need help, such as during harvest season.
