The 2014 Christmas lights that were put up on display at the Shintencho titled, "Snow Christmas - Shiawase no Yuki ga Maioriru Machi -" were quite special in that the highlight of the spectacle was what was called the "sun dome." People were able to experience the falling of artificially produced snow in the sun dome, which would release white snowfall 8 times a day. The large clock tower that stands proudly at the center of the Shintencho was also given a Christmas makeover and the area around it was also decorated in winter ornaments, which were strung from the ceiling.
