The "meat-shaped stone" is a highly valuable artifact, which only resurfaces on special occasions is one of the two main attractions at the National Palace Museum, Taipei, the "Jadeite Cabbage" being the other, which was on display at the Tokyo National Museum. Aside from the "Jadeite Cabbage" and "meat-shaped stone," asianbeat also recommends you check out the character-like "Man and Bear," with the comical 1:3 head to body ratio. It has been carved into natural rock that was both white and black, with the man being sculpted into the white portion and the bear into black. There are a number of antiques besides these that won't be re-emerging for the next few years even in Taipei, so don't miss this great opportunity! (Editorial Dep't.: Haomei)
