[Photo Report] A sneak preview of an "Evangelion" exhibition!(1/11)

Let's take a look at the secret behind Evangelion timeless appeal!

On October 26th, staff at asianbeat went in for a preview of the "Evangelion" exhibition to see what is in store for fans at the Kitakyushu Manga Museum.
Of the many anime series coming out of Japan, "Evangelion" boasts an unmatched popularity, to which many reporters and media groups in overwhelming numbers have responded to by making an appearance at this early viewing in hopes of snatching up this popular story.
Upon entering the exhibition, we came across a document that was made during the production of the "Evangelion" series detailing exactly what it is all about. In addition to this, still-frames along with a paper model of NERV and reproduction manuscripts of the manga version of "Neon Genesis Evangelion" were also put on display.
This paper model was used as a supplemental storyboard reference so staff could retain a unified image of their creation, so as to push production forward.
Over 80 originals (still frames) from the main animation take up one corner. Here you can see many of these valued novelty stills!
This exhibition will be held until December 27th. Why not come down at some point for a visit yourself?
