Warabino Cafe Restaurant (茶房 わらび野)

The owner of this café restaurant is a business success story, managing some 20 stores. The majority of his stores focus on sushi and Japanese cuisine, but Sabo Warabino is a blend of Japanese and Western styles (including a café menu) and has been open for 10 years. It’s located in the mountains with no signs to guide you but it’s always bustling with customers.
My recommendation here: the view. From inside the café you can see the forest, the mountains, rice fields, the town, the ocean – everything. Coming here in autumn when all the leaves start to change color would be incredible.
Course meals start at 3500 Yen. A taxi from Sasaguri Station will cost about 1700 Yen.
They even have English and Spanish speaking staff on hand.
What better atmosphere to sit down and enjoy a nice meal.
