I can learn the songs and dance routines faster than I could before! (Kobayashi)

Q.This next question is a bit personal, but could you please tell us how you spend your days off? Having said that, have you had a holiday recently?

Kobayashi & Nakayama：Yes, we have!

Kobayashi: I'm interested in drawings and painting pictures in kind of a casual, carefree manner.

Nakayama: I usually sleep as much as I want. Even though sometimes its past noon, I don't care too much, I feel like I want to sleep more!

Q.Do you have any tricks for learning your songs?

Nakayama: I read lyrics, whilst listening to the music in order to memorize them. In the first year I picked up a lot, so I have now got used to it.

Kobayashi: I can remeber them faster now than I could before.

Q.What kind of music do you listen to usually?

Kobayashi: The artists I like are Ikimono-gakari and Superfly.

Nakayama: The artist that I really like is Miwa, I bought the shoes and backpack that Miwa designed with my Otoshidama (New Year's gift money)! But I have not received them yet...!

Q.Are you in to mange and anime? Do you have any favorites?

Kobayashi: The girl's manga "Kokoro Botan" is really heart-warming and interesting to read. But I've collected all of the volumes, so right now I'm looking for other comics to read. 　

Nakayama: When I have time, without realizing I find myself watching the anime "Crayon Shin-chan." Even in Taiwan they were showing the film "Crayon Shin-chan" dubbed into Chinese, it was really cool!

Q.You have been to Fukuoka several times, what's your impression of the place?

Kobayashi: The first time I came, if I heard Fukuoka the image of mentaiko (spicy pollack roe) really strongly came to mind. When I travel in Japan, I always buy souvenirs that I can't get at home and take them back with me. Today, if there is time, even though I'm not good with spicy food, I want to buy mentaiko rice crackers!

Nakayama: I thought that coming to Fukuoka today, given that it is further south of Tokyo, that it might be a bit warmer, but it's suprisingly cold (lol)!

Even since we got back to Japan, "xiexie" keeps on slipping out! (Nakayama)

Q.Do you have a message for readers and fans from around the world who will be reading the asianbeat website?

Kobayashi: If you haven't heard of Ebichu, please check us out, we want more and more people to hear our stuff. And if you want to hear more songs, please listen to our album "Kinpachi."

Nakayama: When we went to Taiwan, there was lots of people who knew Ebichu and had seen our videos. Please check us out so that Ebichu can meet people from all around the world! Xiexie!

Q.Chinese has really stayed with you, hasn't it!

Nakayama: Even though we are back in Japan, "xiexie" keeps on slipping out!

Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku

Formed in August 2009, with an average age of 15.7, the idol group are signed to the third section of the Stardust Promotions. Active under the nickname "King of Gakugeikai (King of the School Arts Festival)."

The group made their major debut with their debut single "Karikeiyaku no Cinderella (Provisional Cinderella)" released on 5 May 2012 through DefSTAR Records. 2nd full album "Kinpachi" relseased on Wednesday 28 January 2015. Headlined their first theatrical shows from Thursday 12 March to Sunday 15 March 2015, the first performance at the Theater Shrimp was titled "Extra Shot Non Whipped Caramel Pudding Macchiato"
