asianbeat (hereafter referred to as ab): You just finished your event on the KPF stage, how did it go?

Asanuma Shintaro (hereafter referred to as Asanuma): "Ousama Jungle" events usually take place with about 200 people in the audience, just like the one held at Aruaru City yesterday. But KPF venue was full of spectators! There were so many people! Everyone reacts differently, so I was trying to figure out which words or gestures would get a laugh from the audience. But overall, it was such a new, fresh experience. I really enjoyed it!

Toyonaga Toshiyuki (hereafter referred to as Toyonaga): Generally speaking, "Ousama Jungle" is different from other events. It's a place where we can talk about our personal life in more detail. It's so wonderful that so many people saw our show and that we got to appear on a platform as big as the KPF stage!

Asanuma: At the sales event, one person said to us that they were travelling alone for the first time. I'm so happy that someone was inspired to do something like that because of me. And not only that… The person also said that they enjoyed their time in Fukuoka!

"Ousama Jungle" EX18 was a huge success! So many people watched the event!
ab: What most impressed you during this trip to Fukuoka?

Toyonaga: It's definitely got to be the food! I mentioned this earlier on stage, but when I came to Fukuoka before, I was finally able to conquer the squid that I had been unable to eat!

Asanuma: We've had chances to visit cities that are famous for delicious food, but there were times when Toyonaga hardly ate anything. Yesterday we went to eat together (looking towards Toyonaga) and I saw that you were eating like crazy. I was so happy, I felt like I might cry (lol)!

ab: On stage, you were full of praise for the "shiroya" omelette!

Asanuma: Yeah! I bought three boxes of 10 to take back as souvenirs. I also bought some "Yosukou no Butaman!" (lit.: steamed pork buns from Yousukou)

Toyonaga: I prefer souvenirs that can last a bit longer!

Toyonaga: Whenever I go to events in places like China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Singapore, I always feel proud to see that Japanese anime is held in such high regard.. As a voice artist active in the industry, it makes me so happy to hear that people get to find-out more about Japan through anime, and then get a chance to discover local areas, such as Fukuoka!

Asanuma: One of the reasons we stay in this industry is because we want to have lots of encounters! I'm sure that in the future we will get a chance to visit fans in lots of different locations! Please wait for our visit! And please continue to get behind us!
