STORY
Set in Tokyo, Japan, in the near future, a squad of five men equipped with high-tech power suits, arrive in a desolate city in the middle of the desert, where they engage a dangerous unmanned tank in combat. As the battle unfolds, though, the situation for the squadron becomes more and more dire. The story is based on an original work by Otomo Katsuhiro, reconstructing his trademark epic action sequences with realism and innovation. It is both a thrilling action piece and a work that conveys the sense of the vanity of life.
