Chashumen and Game Arcades. Night life in Fukuoka is fun!
My next meal was ramen again. But this a different restaurant than the one before. Ramen is the local dish of Fukuoka so naturally there is an abundance of ramen shops. I ordered an extra-large serve of chashu (roasted pork) and I couldn’t be happier.

Actually, I’m quite fond of gyuu-don (beef on rice) and I asked my Japanese friend “Where’s a good place here to eat gyuu-don?” But to my surprise she replied, “You think gyuu-don is all there is to Japan?” I only asked because I like gyu-don…(;__;)
There are also plenty of game arcades in Fukuoka. After a few rounds on the drum master I discovered Vocaloid Project Diva!^^

Mandarake in Fukuoka has it all!
In the afternoon I visited “Mandarake” with a friend. This particular “Mandarake” is so big it surely over-shadows most other shops of similar nature, and it’s stocked to the brim with a whole range of goods.^^//
On the night before my trip back to Thailand I went out shopping with a friend until 3 in the morning… While we were shopping I heard an announcement made in Thai which gave me quite a shock. But the fact that there are announcements being made in Thai means that there must be a fair few Thai people visiting Fukuoka, right?
Before going back to the hotel we stopped in at a sushi restaurant where one of the staff members there tried his best to strike up a conversation with us in English. He was really nice.

Feeling rather full I returned to my hotel and packed up my luggage in preparation of my flight home in the morning. If I get the chance, I’d love to come back to Fukuoka again! \(^^-)
