[Special Feature] The 1st "MCPO AWARD 2017" - Report from the public screening of applicants works! (9/17)
The work by Miram, an applicant from Korea, features a strange world and cute animals in what appears to be a snow globe, while 砂利 (Jyari), an applicant from Japan, depicts a beautiful kimono-clad woman standing on a traditional looking road that is filled with color and a sense of perspective.
(Mikimoto) (Referencing 砂利 (Jyari)'s work) "I feel like there's something missing. But as you have more experiences and draw more, things might start to change in your life, which can have a profound impact on how you create art. That can help you grow and develop your talent.
(Hibiki) (Referencing Miram's work) It's a cute work that is a bit different to illustrations you see in anime and manga, it looks like an image you would see published in fashionable magazine or advertisement.

From left: "비가 내리는 날에" (On a Rainy Day) by Miram (Korea), "Hana Kaoru Machi" (A Street Filled with the Fragrance of Flowers) by Jyari Saya (ka) (Japan).
