■Favorite character Himoo Yuina of "Tokimeki Memorial." I first encountered her in spring 2009 when I just happened to buy a Sega Saturn version of the game. I've been a servant of hers ever since.
Others characters I like are, Erica Fontaine (Sakurai Taisen / Sakura Wars) and Cure Moonlight (HeartCatch PreCure!).
■Reason for becoming otaku?　
I guess it was because I used to play "Puyo Puyo" on PC98 with my dad and because I fell in love with Cherry from "Saber Marionette" when I was 5...my first love.
■What are your thoughts on the latest otaku boom?
I'm happy that anime fans are on the rise but I just hope that people don't forget about the classics as well.

■What are you hooked on at the moment?
Lately I've been hooked on retro scrolling-shooters like "Darius Gaiden" and "Cotton." The shooting genre is still quite new to me. As for anime, I'm super excited about the the new series of "Fafner of the Azure" that's in the works!
■The next thing you want to buy?　
MEGA-CD (Sega CD), PC Engine DUO
■How much have you invested so far?　　
On general anime goods, I'm not sure, but just on Himoo Yuina goods (in the two and a half years I've been serving her), it seems I've spent more than 400,000 Yen ($4000).
■What does being an otaku mean to you?
A purpose in life.
■How do you budget your monthly earnings?
80~90% goes towards Yuina-sama.
