Most prized possession

Otaku@Home Tokimeki Memorial Himoo Yuina

"Tokimeki Memorial - giclée print - Himoo Yuina"

This is one of the 20 limited giclée prints that went on sale at the 2011 Tokyo Game Show. I purchased print No.2 of the 20.
I never thought I would I see limited edition, hand-drawn prints of "Toki-Memo," little own Yuina-sama, on sale anywhere in this day and age, so I couldn't believe it when they announced that the prints were going on sale. I had to first obtain a reserve ticket to purchase the print from Konami Style in Tokyo Midtown, though, and on the day of the Game Show I made sure to be on the first train there. I have the print hanging in my room now and I worship it every day.

In order to receive a reserve ticket to purchase the print, you had to spend at least 3000 Yen in Tokyo Midtown before the day of the Game Show, but I wasn't familiar with which trains to catch and ended up spending 3500 Yen just in transport to get there (lol).

Our 16th guest is an otaku with a love for "Tokimeki Memorial" and older works which would these days be regarded as "classics." The pillow that Karin is holding in the photo on the "Q/A with the owner" page is an original work, created out of pure fascination of what Yuina-sama would look like with 'neko-mimi' (cats ears). There's also a Yuina twitter bot out there too, apparently!

We've now hit a total of 35, 886,800 Yen!! We know you’re out there otakus! Keep your applications coming!

Only 6,413,200 Yen to go until we hit 10 million!!
