Packed full of attractions! There's more still to come!
There are so many other exciting and charming exhibits at the Kitakyushu Museum of Natural History & Human History! Inside the "Bunka Gakushu-en (Local Culture History)" and the "Tankyu-kan (Discovering History)," which are a part of the History Zone, there are recreations of old Japanese style houses, giving you the chance to see how people lived in bygone times. Furthermore, there is the "Pocket Museum (Theme Exhibitions)." Split into three exhibition spaces, these areas introduce us to the most valuable collections inside the museum, as well as their most recent research results!

Furthermore, in the "Seimei no Tayosei-kan (Diversity of Life)" section inside Natural History Zone, visitors can view different specimens and stuffed animals to witness the process of evolution. The "Shizen Hakken-kan (Discovering Nature)" segment introduces guests to the living things and geological phenomena that can be observed in the local vicinity around Kitakyushu. In the "Shizen Gakushu-en (Eco Garden)" you can come into direct contact with, and take in the untouched nature that is just outdoors. These are just some of the features that are unique to the Kitakyushu Museum of Natural History & Human History!

In addition, the Kitakyushu Museum of Natural History & Human History continues to promote friendship and exchange with museums in other countries, such as the Lushun Museum, which is located in Dalian (Liaoning Province), a sister city that shares a friendship agreement with Kitakyushu. In the "Higashi Asia Koryu Corner (East Asia Friendship Section)" in the General Services section you can learn more about all these activities. If you do visit the museum make sure to stop-by!
