The theme for the "mi-okuri" (sending-off side) of the kazariyamakasa in front of Riverain was "Mukashibanashi Hakata Seizoroi (An Array of Hakata Folk Tales)." The float featured depictions of many famous figures from Japanese legends, including the likes of "Kintaro," "Momotaro," "Issun-bōshi,""Urashima Taro" and "Kaguya-hime (Princess Kaguya)."
