The Best of Japanese T shirts
Beams T has contributed greatly to graphic culture under the concept of “Art for Everybody”, releasing T shirts created by a number of local and overseas creators collaborating together. In September 2008 BEAMS T started the MANGA BEAMS T which puts manga together with art to create MANGART T shirts, which are sending a message both at home and abroad.

The topical label MANGART will hold an exhibition at BEAMS FUKUOKA from June 12 to 24. A new range of T shirts featuring graphics from the Neon Genesis Evangelion, Akatsuka Fujio and Inoue Takehiko will be on display.
There will be a special exhibition at the franchise shop Daikanyama, featuring the manga artist Akatsuka Fujio, who passed away last year.
BE@RBRICK by Akatsuka Fujio is scheduled to go on sale in August. I can’t wait.
