Tucked away in the corner of the shop is a tree crammed full of pieces of paper. The tree is for messages and pictures drawn by the shop's customers.

Popular series are introduced in such great detail, you can refer to the notes to find a book to match your tastes. This month, May 2014, sees Love Live! -School idol diary- reaching Book Culture's number one spot.

On one side of the counter there is a space with tables where you can sit and talk to like minded people as well as spend time reading the books you just bought.

Since its opening in November 2012 the shop has represented Busan's specialist manga retailers and handled many different products including manga, figures, hobby goods, imported Japanese books and of course light novels. It's one spot in Busan that anime fans absolutely can't miss. There's a limit to how many books and light novels Korea's regular bookshops can offer but Book Culture is a place where you can get as close as possible to manga and light novels in Busan. The shop offers so many books and Japanese anime products that if something catches your interest then you should take a step inside.
