レミ太郎 (Japan)|Title: "刹那の幸福" (lit.: Instant happiness) *Available at the official MediBang website >>here!

Ueyama: Out of all the submissions, this is one work that has been completed to an exceptionally high standard! The drawings are very good. The artist might not have realized just how good the work is when they were creating this image. I was surprised to hear that this is only the artists second creation! The piece has a very refreshing finish. If this is only their the second piece of work, I'm really looking forward to seeing what they can create in the future. Please do your best and continue to work hard!

レミ太郎 (Remi-tarou)
ab: Congratulations! How are you feeling about winning the award?
Pure happiness! I heard about the prize before my work was selected. I honestly never thought that I would win the Grand Prix award. I'm absolutely ecstatic!
ab: You mentioned on the stage that your dream is to make your debut as manga artist. You received some advice from the judges. How do you intend to make use of the feedback?
One of the main topics discussed was related to "entertainment." I have not always though about trying to entertain the reader when creating a new piece of work. From now on I am determined to keep this point in mind when I draw. The advice and feedback that was given made me realize the level of talent that professionals possess!

初雲 (Japan)|Title: "Junks look at the sky" * Available at the official MediBang website >>here!

Seguchi: Congratulations! The world in this work is clear and vivid. I can really see what kind of things the artist loves by looking at this work. That is something I really like about this piece. If you are trying to create something for entertainment or commercial purposes, its not great if even one person out of ten does not understand what is going on. To create something truly entertaining I think you need to produce artwork that all ten people can fully grasp. I thought this work was really powerful, so I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of artwork this person creates in the future!

初雲 (Shoun)
ab: Congratulations! How are you feeling after winning the award?
I just can't believe it! I heard about the selection, but I couldn't quite believe that my work was really chosen. I am so happy... Receiving this award for something that I love gives me a glimpse of what I can achieve.
ab: In terms of work, what are your prospects for the future?
I am currently a fourth grade student at university, so right now I am job hunting. But I intend to continue drawing and creating manga even after I enter the world of work. Someday I hope to see my work widely recognized.
