I've arrived at the observation deck! The Tanabata Festival decorations are really lovely! It's said that Japan's Tanabata Festival has its roots in Chinese legends and rituals.(* There are various views on the origins of the custom. ) But the decorations hanging here are not something that you will see in China, they are unique to Japan.
In Japan you write your dreams on a "Tanzaku (a long, narrow piece of card used for writing)," and it said that if you tie your wish to bamboo leaf then it will surely reach heaven!


I wrote down my hopes and dreams quickly so I could hang them up!


There's so many things I want to wish for... But I guess it's best not to be too greedy!
