● Next door to Tokyo Big Sight was the itasha exhibition “Auto Salone.” ‘Itasha’ refers to cars with bodies decorated with fictional characters of anime, manga or video games. The term is a combination of the words ‘itai’ (painful) and ‘sha’ (vehicle), possibly because they hurt the eyes to look at? Quite literally an eye-sore! Hehe…

Here is my collection of itasha that impressed me the most! At first glance it has to be…Mikoto Misaka of “Toaru Majutsu no Index”!
