"Yu-ki Nishimoto - Ryu no Kiseki" Fukuoka Exhibition: Opening Ceremony and Press Viewing(12/13)
During the private viewing a TV crew broadcast Nishimoto painting a huge dragon head live. The image he completed is a piece of work that he started towards the end of last year. On 29th November 2017 he painted the main body of the dragon at the Fukuoka Yahuoku! Dome over a four hour period. When put together the huge dragon is over 30-meters in length! (*Part of the dragon is visible in the photograph below.)

The Kanze School noh performer Takanobu Sakaguchi performed a routine called "Kasuga Ryujin" in front of the huge dragon just after it had been completed. The combination of noh and sumi-e artwork was simply stunning!
