FUKUOKA KIMONO COLLECTION Special Report(9/10)
We also asked if there were any places in Fukuoka that they were interested in...

asianbeat: When you come to Fukuoka, are there any places that you simply have to go to?
Arie Mizusawa: The thing that I make sure to eat is ramen! Tonkotsu ramen, I love it. The ramen that I love usually has a rough, intense kind of smell. I always get it when I am in town. The stronger the smell, the more I like it!
GENKING: Last night I went somewhere to eat, I had some sashimi and stuff like that, it was so delicious! I want to go again!
asianbeat: Otsuka-san, as you are from Fukuoka Prefecture, is there anywhere that you would recommend?
Momoko Otsuka: In west Nakasu "Mentaijyu" is a restaurant that specializes in mentaiko and mentaiko related dished. The food is really delicious there! Even though I'm from Fukuoka, when I see a "roke-ben (bento box provided when shooting on location)" from them, I get so excited!
GENKING: Wow... I want to try one! I really want to "tabetakaccha?! ("eat it" said in Hakata-ben, Hakata dialect)
Otsuka-san gave advice to GENKING on how to use "Hakata dialect."

Otsuka: You want to try it!?
GENKING's: "Tabetai-cchan (I want to try it)(lol)! (GENKING used Hakata-ben again) Hakata-ben (dialect) is so cute, don't you think!
Arie Mizusawa: You sound like Lum-chan. (Lum from the manga, anime series "Urusei Yatsura")
asianbeat: Oh yes, please use Hakata-ben!
Everybody: "Tukau-ken! (We'll use it!)"

... And that brings an end to our fun-filled interview! On the next page we've got snaps of GENKING and Arie Mizusawa for you!
