#14 Fukuoka Music Month 2020 ended successfully! (Part 3)(2/3)

Realized the improving infrastructure development amidst the pandemic!

"Kyushu Gospel Festival in Hakata" was held at the same time as "NAKASU JAZZ". Choirs all over Japan were connected, and the theme song written by Sakai Yu (singer-songwriter) was shared. Imagine 2,000 gospel singing at the Hakata Station Square, I can't wait to hold a real event again.
And there comes the last event in Fukuoka Music Month, "Music City Tenjin". It was the 19th, same as the Sunset Live, many throwback videos were shown, including footage of the legendary Number Girl's performance at Keigo Park before disbanded, and the last SHEENA & THE ROKKETS live in Fukuoka. There were also some "experiments" of using 5G in live streaming which were likely to be used in the future.

There were days when streaming was carried out simultaneously at as many as 5 live houses out of 19. Most of them have good streaming equipment thanks to the support measures of Fukuoka City. I realized that such infrastructure development amidst the pandemic was probably ahead of any other district in the country.
"Music Action Fukuoka (MAF)" was aired 3 times. It included a talk corner which the organizers of each festival speaking about their motivation to start the event as well as their thoughts so far to the viewers. Besides, there was also an impressive talk session showing what the live house owners and people related to the music industry think about the prospects of the industry and the possibilities in Fukuoka. What's most impressive was when Mr. Takashima (mayor of Fukuoka) appeared at the final event and said, "We shall not put out the fire of Fukuoka's music! The beat of Fukuoka will never stop!" Not only his words were encouraging, he revealed certain future plans concretely that inspire young people to pursue their dreams instead of giving up. Followed by that was the performance of Buzz72+ led by Matsukuma Kenta, and the mayor and BATTEN GIRLS joined the song "Beat goes on" as the ending show.
