Happy new year! We celebrated the 15th anniversary of "asianbeat" (multilingual website) on 30 September 2020, and would like to thank everyone for your kind support.

We had faced many difficulties last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, some of our invitation programs (from overseas) were postponed. On the other hand, it was a year when online contents / social media have come to play a big role, and we, the Editorial Dept. members, made our best effort to keep sharing the latest pop culture information to everyone. We have started new featured articles, including updates for "What's Hot!? Hottest Trends in Japan!" which introduces Fukuoka's latest trends; the special feature introducing Fukuoka-native music artists' latest activities, "Music Scene!!!"; and "Discover the world of NINJA! - Feel the spirit of 'NINJA' in Fukuoka! -" which introduces the popular "Ninja" culture in Japan from the editor's unique perspective.
