Fukutsu City | KAGAMINOUMI

Is it Uyuni Salt Flat?! A mysterious place with stunning view where the beach reflects the sky like a mirror♪

Uyuni Salt Flat in Bolivia, South America, is best known as a place where you can take lots of spectacular pictures on the surface of the lake that reflects the sky. In fact, there is a place in Fukuoka where you can try for such "miracle shot" - the 3 kilometers long coast across Fukuma Beach, Miyajihama Beach, and Tsuyazaki Beach, which is located in Fukutsu City, the northern part of Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. When the tide is low, get the right timing and you will be able to take stunning photos on the beach covered with fine white sand!

The Fukutsu Tourist Association has created an exclusive website for "KAGAMINOUMI" in March this year to share the tips of seeing the amazing vista. They include the predicted "KAGAMINOUMI" days, when the beach is turning into a "mirror" reflecting the sky, as well as the right timing, and the best spots and ways for best shots. So, how about a trip to Fukutsu and surround yourself with one of Japan's most beautiful scenery?
