Vocaloid Cosplayer Diary ~Caruto~(2/9)
Eating crepes and passing time at a game center.
The crepes we had for dessert were heaven! Even now I reminisce about the food I ate on this day, wondering when I’ll get to eat it again.

Japanese game center.

The sign for a Vocaloid purikura at the entrance caught my eye…cute, right? I wanted to get some pictures done here but unfortunately I wasn’t able to this time around.

Mushroom figurines that look just like the real thing…

Strange Japanese purikura (left)It’s a shame I didn’t get to try the Rirakkuma purikura.

The rhythm game was so much fun.

100 Yen per game though is a little expensive. (100 Yen is about the equivalent of 1500 Won in Korea…)
I also thought this costume studio was rather unique.

Japanese UFO Catchers…

So many of the UFO Catchers in Japan are filled with Gloomy Bears!

Looking at all the figures available in the UFO catchers made me want them for myself. I spent quite a bit of money trying to win one but it was too hard and had to give in. In Korea you don’t see these kinds of manga/anime character goods in UFO catchers so it was a new concept for me.

Macross Frontier

Left: bed sheets and pillow case character goods. Right: Puella Magi Madoka Magica

Left: Hatsune Miku. Right: “Steinsgate”

Left: Luffy and Ace of One Piece. Right: Gintama.
On the way back to the hotel we spotted some yatai stalls. Having signs on top of the yatai was rather unique I thought.

And so ended the first day.
