Vocaloid Cosplayer Diary ~Caruto~(5/9)
In the evening we attended a meet-and-greet with the other cosplayers. I had been looking forward to this.
The meet started just after 5:30pm.
A mistake had been made with my nametag and the characters erased.

There were a lot of people at the meet, including the cosplayers, judges for the tournament, as well as various other third parties. There was also a representative from the Korean company SBS Artech, the creators of the Korean Vocaloid “SeeU.” I was a little startled when she asked me, “You haven’t bought SeeU yet?” though. My apologies. I like the Vocaloid songs and the imagery but I’ve never played around with the program itself…
Oh, and I attended the meet dressed just like Len too by the way.

We drew straws to decide the order of the performances the following day but I clearly have no luck with drawing straws because I drew first position. First has to be the most nerve rattling.

V signing with everyone.

After the meet-and-greet we all went out to eat at “yatai.” The “oden” was full of a whole range of ingredients.

Judges for tomorrows tournament: cosplay personality, Kipi and Kaname, as well as the Cure representative, Inui Tatsumi.

Beer and yatai ramen. Eating out yatai-style in a gentle rain.

We returned to the hotel and prepared for the following today while eating the strawberry mochi ice-cream I got from the convenience store.
