ASIA VOCALOID FESTA - START!
Sunday October 23rd – Day Three
I transformed into Hatsune Miku for the day.

I really wanted to make an impression with my outfit so I adorned my costume with LEDs on my sleeves, skirt, hair ornaments and head-set.

The passionate pair from Hong Kong!

Miku x 2! I saw a lot of people out and about dressed as Hatsune Miku

Spice Len and Colorful Melody Miku/Rin

The Chinese cosplay representative

The youthful Kaname. An oringal Kaito on the judging panel.

Kipi in Korean Vocaloid character “SeeU” cos.

Gakupo and Len – the Fukuoka representatives, Noraneko and Rou.

Special guest from Thailand, Fay.

With imitation black Len and Gakupo.

Len runner-up, SZU, and winter Miku winner, Aim.

Aim is the same age as a middle schooler in Korea and also the youngest member in the tournament. I was shocked when I learned that she only started cosplaying a few months ago after a friend recommended it to her. I knew that SZU would be in with good chance of winning after I saw her performance in the qualifying round online, so when she was announced runner-up I was hardly surprised. But everyone in the group are truly amazing people – just as you might expect of country representatives.
