半糖 (Ban Tang) won the Overseas Participant Award and expressed his ambition to continue making manga in the future. He said, "This is my first chance to come to Japan. The spoon that appears in the manga is an old utensil that is thrown away by my mother. I am pleased that I was able to create a piece of work that focuses on a spoon that is used in normal, everyday life. Looking forward, I will do my best to continue producing new manga."
