Stories from Kawaii Ambassadors♥(6/8)

Chen Ying Ru (陳瀅如) [Taiwan Kawaii Ambassador, 2014]

I loved Fukuoka's fresh atmosphere, its interesting stores and items (and the cool things you can find there). Regardless of the size and scale of the shops, what really catches people's eye is unique designs. I was able to catch a glimpse of Japanese people's distinctive consideration for others and their earnest character through this visit.
Thank you to all of the asianbeat staff for looking after me so well. I was able to meet the Kawaii Ambassadors from many different places. There is no way I can forget the kindness that everybody showed me.

Because I was not so familiar with foreign customs, there were some aspects of the culture I did not pick up on, but everyone was really understanding and I'm so grateful for that.
I had a really good impression of Fukuoka, but the one thing that really stands out in my mind were the big book stores.
The Japanese book stores I went to were really big and even though there was many people inside I thought they were really nice. I love book shops and also people who read books. Of course Taiwanese book shops are good too and there are sections with imported Japanese manga, but this reminds me that Japanese people can read manga as soon as it's released. Japanese people must be so happy:) Since returning to Taiwan, everyday I've been doing my best to better myself. I still definitely want to go back Fukuoka and have a great time!
