■ULTRA JAPAN 2017 DAY3 [ 3/5 ]
The newly established LIVE STAGE was a new addition to this year's festival. The newly established LIVE STAGE received a huge amount of attention from everyone at the festival. DAY 1 featured big name stars Chanmina, Suiyobi no Campanella (Wednesday Campanella), and PORTER ROBINSON, while the line-up for DAY 2 included hip-hop acts YURUFUWA GANG, SALU, and KOHH. The afternoon session of the second day saw artists who are the forefront of the dance music scene, such as KSHMR and TCHAMI, take to the stage. Rock acts MIYAVI and Crossfaith performed on DAY 3, alongside the likes of Underworld and Pendulum! There are lots of people who probably think of ULTRA JAPAN as a DJ event, but it has recently started to expand its line-up.
Offering a slightly different to the DJ sets, the live vocal and music performances had the crowd totally enthralled. From the latest Japanese hip-hop and rock, to massive overseas dance acts, the line-up of artists featured at this year's festival spanned across all kinds of musical genres. Ensuring the balance was absolutely perfect, ULTRA JAPAN delivered a totally fresh experience for all the guests and visitors!
The crowd were loving the live FAKE EYES PRODUCTION set from ShigeoJD and DJ MAAR!
DJ AKI + YUUKI were joined on stage by the rapper ACE, who had appeared and performed on FREESTYLE DUNGEON.
This was the first that time that the rock artist MIYAVI, who is active all over the world, performed at ULTRA JAPAN!
Despite a few technical issues and problems with the equipment, there was a huge buzz amongst the audience when the hugely popular band Crossfaith, who have developed a big following overseas, performed their set.
DAY 2 featured performances from the legendary band Pendulum, which is formed of members from Knife Party.
An unbelievable number of legendary artists performed on the LIVE STAGE!
Here is the Underworld performing their masterpiece "Born Slippy."
Measures and provisions are being taken at various locations in an effort to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus.
