Having Fun at the Game Center!
Often referred to as the gateway to Kyushu, JR Hakata Station is a place where everyday a lot of people come and go. With all the shopping districts and places to eat, not only is it convenient but also a great place to do a bit of sightseeing. This time I was able to visit Hakata district’s one of the largest game centers, “namco Hakata Bus Terminal Branch” which is right next to the Hakata station. I had a lot of fun!

Participating in a Fukuoka cosplay event!
Next, I took part in a cosplay event held at the Fukuoka Jericho. It felt kinda strange meeting all the different cosplayers and photographers but I had a good time. Getting to see Japanese cosplayers in person and seeing how the photographers work with them as well as having a few shots of me taken with the other cosplayers was really interesting.

Taking in the Cuisine of Fukuoka!
Fukuoka has so many famous delicious foods! I tucked into some motsu-nabe (a stew containing offal) and tonkotsu ramen (ramen noodles in a pork broth).

The Graceful Yukata
I slipped into a yukata and headed to a Japanese garden called Rakusuien. My heart fluttered as I entered the traditional Japanese garden, just like the ones I had seen on Japanese TV. The atmosphere was wonderful.
