Bangkok is full of kawaii cafes!

Golden Week has finished and the weather is starting to get warmer as we move into the Summer months! I took four days off during Golden Week and went to Bangkok, Thailand! My main goal was to explore some of the cafes! There are so many kawaii ones to check-out in Bangkok! I enjoy going around cafes... Its's almost like a hobby. It was one of the main reasons I wanted to go on the trip, but I went during Golden Week, so the plane tickets were almost twice as expensive as normal (lol)! But it was a super satisfying Golden Week... I got to go to the cafes that I wanted to visit. I highly recommend a place in Bangkok called "Sretsis Parlour!"

The interior is classic and cute! Some of the food that looks like cakes are actually sandwiches! The latte art is also so kawaii! It's really a cool cafe!

I decided to go for a classic lolita look to match the cafe's interior. It's always fun to coordinate my outfit and make sure that it matched the vibe of the cafe. Make sure to stop-by if you get a chance to go to Bangkok! A lot of Japanese people visit. It's a fairly well-known place!
I get to go to lots of events and tea parties every month. In mid-April I went to Guangzhou for a lolita fashion event! I had the chance to wear lots of gorgeous lolita-style clothes! Some of the items looked a bit like wedding dresses! And I also met some famous Chinese models and bloggers! Everyone was so kawaii! I'm sure that these lolita fashion models will be among the next generation of leaders in China.

It seems that Marie Antoinette-like hairstyles have become popular recently. I also wore a wig that had a lot of volume! So my look was kind of in keeping with the current trend. People tell me that these wigs look really heavy, but it wasn't so bad, I could even dance while I was wearing it.

A lot of Chinese lolita fashion fans are currently using the "TikTok" app. I am now using the Chinese version! The app has helped me discover new Chinese songs and find-out whats going on inside the country. I've been learning so much! Since I created an account a month ago, my number of followers has exceeded the 160,000 mark. I am glad that so many people have seen me on it! TikTok lets you show people what outfit you've chosen while doing a little dance. It's massively popular with lolita fashion enthusiasts! Lolita inspired clothes looks cute from any angle, so if you shoot a spinning video it helps make it easier for people to see your outfit and the design of each garment. China's lolita fashion brands also use TikTok to promote their new clothing lines.

Overseas, the popularity of social media sites, such as Instagram and Twitter, varies in each region. In order to share information with people all over the world, it is important to have an online presence across various social media platforms. I now have over 130,000 followers on the weibo! I think that regularly sharing news and information with people in other parts of the world will lead to lolita fashion becoming even more popular! I am on all kinds of social media... I'm on Twitter, Instagram, weibo, the Japanese version of TikTok, the Chinese version of TikTok, and I also have my own blog! I update my accounts every day! It can sometimes be hard, but it is so great to stay connected with people all over the world, so I want to continue doing it! I think that it is important to travel overseas in order to participate in tea parties and events, but so is sharing information via social media. I want to tell people about my love for lolita fashion while doing both! I have a lot of events lined up for June and July. Meeting fans of lolita fashion from every corner of the globe is a real treasure for me! We have now entered the "Reiwa" period! The times have changed, but I will continue to do my best to promote cultural diplomacy through lolita fashion!
