Climb up the 123m Fukuoka Tower and enjoy a stroll mid-air!

超ウルトラ階段のぼり大会
Fukuoka Tower's "超ウルトラ階段のぼり大会" (lit.: Super Ultra Stair-Climbing Meet" will be held 4 times a day on 11 May (Saturday) and 12 May (Sunday), with 300 participants possible each time. From the ground up to the observation deck, the tower is 123m tall, and has 577 steps. Hearing the number of steps might intimidate you, but as it takes an average of 10-15 minutes to get to the observation deck, it's really just a little exercise! How about enjoying a mid-air stroll, all whilst soaking in the sea breeze from Hakata Bay and, as you ascend step by step, taking in the view? For high school students and older, it's 500 yen; for primary and middle school students, and those 65 years and older, it's 300 yen; four years and older, it's 100 yen. For participants, cold drinks will be provided and an original canned badge will be given as presents!
