Akizuki has long been a famous producer of washi or Japanese paper. In the past, there were many washi stores in the area, but now there is only one. Access: 20 minute train ride from Nishitetsu Tenjin Station. Alight at Asakuragaido Station. At the Amagi Bus Center take a bus bound for Akizuki. Alight at Megane-bashi (Spectacles Bridge).
