[MON and STAY’s "full-on" Fukuoka Trip] Miyajidake Shrine (宮地嶽神社)(2/9)
Before entering the honden (main shrine) make sure to cleanse yourself, by washing your hands at the chozuya (手水舎: a small pavilion-like structure where worshippers perform a purification rite). Scoop up one ladle of water (please use the ladle just once).
1. Hold the ladle in your right hand and cleanse your left hand.
2. Then change over, take the ladle in your left hand and cleanse your right hand.
3. Take the ladle in your right hand once again. Pour a little bit of water into you left hand and use it to cleanse your mouth.

4. Take some water to cleanse your left hand again and then finally hold the ladle straight up so that the remaining water will fall to purify the handle.

Here they are performing the worshipping rites at the honden. "Bow twice, clap twice, bow once."
