"Kamen Rider" was first broadcast on TV back in 1971 (in Japan). At the time, the protagonist was unlike many other superheroes depicted in mainstream media. He was shown as a hero battling real-life challenges, such as his own sadness and loneliness. Since that time, Kamen Rider has become one of Japan's best loved heroes and has a huge fanbase that spans across different age groups. From Saturday 23rd April until Sunday 15th May 2022, you can get reacquainted with the Kamen Rider from your youth at the JR Kyushu Hall in Fukuoka City! This will be a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in the mesmerizing world of Kamen Rider and learn more about the show's enduring appeal from all kinds of perspectives.

The displays will include a combination of props that were actually used in the TV drama and movies, alongside some that were reproduced especially for this exhibition. You will also find a range of nostalgia inducing items, such as Kamen Rider's henshin (transformation) belts and various manga. Make sure to check out the section that focuses on the evil "SHOCKER" organization, which will be made up of figures and panels that depict the unique and scary kaijin villains!
