[News #3] The "Kitakyushu Pop Culture Festival 2019" is just round the corner! Visitors can expect lots of awesome anime collaborations!

Don't miss the awesome "MADO-MAGI" "KAGUYA-SAMA," and "MY HERO ACADEMIA" collaborations at this year's KPF!

The "Kitakyushu Pop Culture Festival 2019" will take place on Saturday 30th November and Sunday 1st December! The organizers have revealed more information about what attractions visitors can expect at this huge celebration of pop culture. The announcement that they will be collaborating with a popular anime is sure to generate a great deal of interest amongst the public! The main visual used to promote this year's KPF features Kitakyushu City's night view and key characters from an anime called "MAGIA RECORD: PUELLA MAGI MADOKA MAGICA SIDE STORY," which is set to hit television screens in January 2020! And that's not all... The first episode of this highly anticipated series will also be screened during the festival! That means that visitors will get a sneak peak at the show before its broadcast on television!
The festival will also be joining forces with "KAGUYA-SAMA: LOVE IS WAR," a popular title that was made into a movie this Autumn. Keep an eye out for a special collaboration called "Kaguya-sama ha 'Kokura' setai." This awesome display has taken inspiration from the local Kokura area! You can also donate blood during the KPF period! If you do give blood, you will get a cool tin badge! "MADO-MAGI" and "KAGUYA-SAMA" will also be teaming up for the festival to ensure that guests can pick-up even more fun souvenirs! Stop by participating attractions connected to these two titles and you will be able to get your hands on an original postcard!
Be sure not miss an ink painting event inspired by "MY HERO ACADEMIA," an exciting movie that will be hitting cinemas in December! Check-out heroic, dynamic figures created by sumi-e artist 御歌頭 (OKAZU)! This is a great opportunity to get a closer look at work produced by a highly respected artist who is active both inside and outside of Japan! This year's KPF promises to be packed full of excitement and fun! Be sure to stop-by!
