Lovely "frog" figurines and goods everywhere!

Did you know there is a temple that has a kind of parent-child relationship with the famous Nyoirinji Temple (nickname: Kaeru-dera / lit.: Frog Temple) in Ogori City? Located in Iizuka City, Shoboji Temple is known as "Kogaeru-dera" (lit.: Child Frog Temple) or a "parent-child temple" because the abbot is the son of Nyoirinji Temple's abbot! When you arrive at the entrance, you will be "greeted" by frog figurines with wishes such as "Let's live happily" and "Let's live well". Not only that the frog figurines can be seen all the way to the precincts, the precincts are usually filled with wind chimes in summer which is just like Nyoirinji Temple! Moreover, the temple gives a different kind of atmosphere when it is surrounded by colourful leaves in autumn.
