FUKUOKA TOWER / 福岡タワー

Breathtakingly beautiful view from the 123-metre tall observation deck♪
Completed in 1989, Fukuoka Tower has been adored as a symbol of Fukuoka. It has also become a famous illumination spot during festive seasons, such as cherry blossom and Christmas. The stylish outlook covered with 8,000 half-mirrors and the structural beauty created by equilateral triangles are definitely a must-see! In addition, the 234m tall Fukuoka Tower is the third tallest tower with observatory in Japan, after Tokyo Skytree and Tokyo Tower, and also the tallest beach tower in Japan. It takes about 70 seconds to reach the 123m tall observatory deck by the elevator. Here, you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of Fukuoka City and the waterfront, with Hakata Bay on the north, Hakata Station and Tenjin (the biggest city in Kyushu) on the east, and Ohori Park on the south and the west. Thanks to the refurbishment in 2019, there are more photo spots now! It is indeed one of the popular tourist attractions in Fukuoka where you can enjoy the city view of Fukuoka from top!
